Introduction

LinkSpot is a Shopify app that lets you add interactive visual elements on top of your product images and across your product pages. You configure everything from the LinkSpot admin, and the elements appear on your storefront automatically. You do not need to edit your theme files.

What you can add

LinkSpot supports two kinds of elements.

Per product and image elements are tied to a single image on a single product:

• Pins: clickable points on an image that reveal more information.

• Annotations: visual callouts layered on an image.

• Captions: short text overlays tied to an image.

Shop-wide elements are configured once and shown on every product that matches your targeting rules:

• Product sets: groups of related products rendered next to the gallery as a card carousel, a links list, or a button popup.

• Buttons: calls-to-action or media actions placed on gallery images.

• Badges: labels such as SALE, NEW, low-stock, countdown timers, or stamps shown on gallery images. Badges can also be placed elsewhere on the product page through a theme block.

• Collages: bento-grid image compositions that replace a specific product image.

How it shows on the storefront

When you install LinkSpot, an app embed is added to your theme. The embed reads your saved elements and renders them on the storefront. You do not need to edit theme files or paste code.

If you want to place elements anywhere in the website, LinkSpot also provides app blocks that you can drag into your template from the theme editor.

Where to start

1. Open LinkSpot from your Shopify admin.

2. Pick a product and add a pin to one of its images. Drag and configure it.

3. Preview the product page on your storefront. The pin should appear on the image.
