This Privacy Policy describes how Reycommerce Studio SRL ("LinkSpot", "we", "our", or "us") collects, uses, and handles information when merchants install and use the LinkSpot Shopify application (the "App").
The App is designed to help Shopify merchants create interactive product images by adding elements such as pins, product sets, and visual highlights to product gallery images.
By installing and using the App, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
1. Information We Collect
When a merchant installs the App from the Shopify App Store, we receive certain information from Shopify in order to operate the App.
Store Information
We collect and store the following information about the merchant's store:
- Shop domain (e.g.,
example.myshopify.com) - Store owner email address
- Shopify access token (used to communicate securely with the Shopify Admin API)
This information is necessary for authentication and to enable the App to function within the merchant's Shopify store.
Shopify Store Data
In order to provide the App's functionality, LinkSpot accesses limited store data through the Shopify Admin API, including:
- Products
- Product images
- Product variants
- Collections
LinkSpot does not store full product information. The App only stores references to Shopify resources, such as:
- Product IDs
- Product image IDs
- Target product IDs associated with interactive elements
These references are used to display and manage interactive elements created by the merchant.
2. How We Use Information
The collected information is used solely to operate and improve the functionality of the App.
Specifically, we use the data to:
- Authenticate and connect the App to the merchant's Shopify store
- Allow merchants to create and manage interactive elements on product images
- Display related products through pins and product sets
- Maintain the App's internal configuration and layout settings
We do not sell, rent, or share merchant data with third parties for marketing purposes.
3. Customer and Storefront Data
LinkSpot does not collect or process personal data from store visitors or customers.
The App's storefront components only render visual elements on product images and retrieve product information directly from Shopify. No customer identifiers, cookies, or visitor tracking data are collected by the App.
4. Third-Party Services
We rely on trusted third-party services to operate the App:
Hosting Infrastructure
The App is hosted using Railway, which provides secure infrastructure and server hosting.
Email Delivery
We use Resend to send operational emails related to the App.
These providers process data only as necessary to deliver their services and are obligated to maintain appropriate security and confidentiality measures.
5. Data Retention
We retain merchant data only for as long as necessary to provide the App's services.
If a merchant uninstalls the App, all associated data is deleted in accordance with Shopify's data retention and GDPR requirements.
6. Data Security
We implement reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect merchant data from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.
Access to stored data is restricted and only used for the purposes described in this policy.

Merchants may request access to, correction of, or deletion of their personal data at any time.
